Tube Sound Fuzz -- BEGINNER

Tube Sound Fuzz uses CD4049 IC

VERIFIED

tonepad_tubesoundfuzz.pdf 73.6 KB-- Hex Sound Fuzz, Rev.1.Nov.11.2007

Tube Sound Fuzz US$ 8.00

Build Craig Anderton's Tube Sound Fuzz circuit. A very simple yet really good sounding distortion that uses the CD4049 Hex inverter IC.

The original circuit had a Rhythm/Lead switch which switched the 100k resistor between pin14 and Fuzz potentiometer to 10M. This can still be implemented using the resistors mounted on the switch, but it was left out for simplicity.

By replacing a few components, a Red Llama can be built on the same board.

Thanks to Justin Philpott and Steve Cerutti for the original schematics.
